This makes use of the Etherent cable wire for Netgear extender setup as explained.
  • Join an Ethernet cable to the Netgearwifi range extender and computer to establish connection.
  • The Ethernet cable should join at the Internet ports of both devices.
  • Access a web browser on your computer connected above.
  • Enter mywifiext.net password to login Netgear extender Settings page.
  • Key in mywifiext.net default web login in the navigation bar.
  • If mywiifext.net password does not let you navigate to login page, key in Default login IP 192.168.1250 in the navigation field.
  • Enter to Netgear extender login.
  • The login page will direct you to enter the Netgear extender login username and mywifiext.net password.
  • Enter admin in the mywifiext.net username field.

  • Click on LOG in tab to enter the settings page.

  • Enter the SSID and password for WEP security to access Wi-Fi settings.
